Note from Tarry and Elika Mahony

Our deepest love and condolences to all the members of the Amirkia family. We will always remember Amin for his outstanding spiritual qualities of kindness, love, nobility, humility and steadfastness.  No doubt he is soaring in the light of the Abha Kingdom and showering his love upon all his family and friends.

While meditating upon his life and passing, I was inspired to set to music the following passage from the Hidden Words of Baha’u’llah in memory of Amin:

“O Son of Spirit!  Burst thy cage asunder, and even as the phoenix of love soar into the firmament of holiness.  Renounce thyself and, filled with the spirit of mercy, abide in the realm of celestial sanctity.”

    Dear Amirkia Family,
Helen and I are still in shock with the news of Amin’s sudden passing to the Abha Kingdom. We first got to know Amin as a dear friend in China a couple of years ago. Gradually, through the union of our families, he became our loving brother who constantly showed kindness, politeness, good humor and affection. Amin was noble, dignified and dedicated. He possessed a rare capacity to genuinely and deeply connect with everyone. We are praying fervently for the progress of Amin’s illumined soul as well as for your strength in this time of utmost loss.
