Mr. Amirkia,
For the last few days, I have been constantly on the memorial website re-living all my good memories with Amin: picking me up from hotel and taking me back to your place when I was new and lonely in Seattle, to bringing kabobs to Seattle U from the night before, and many more. While watching the pictures on the site, I have found this photo of Amin taken back in November of 2003.
I
have no doubt that he is in a better world than ours but I do feel and share your grief caused by this separation which all of us, the believers, know that it is transitory. Since the time my mother has heard of this loss, she has been remembering you and Farzaneh khanoom and reading this verse in her prayers for you:
{ وَالْعَصْرِ * إِنَّ الإِنسَانَ لَفِي خُسْرٍ * إِلاَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالْحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوْا بِالصَّبْر}
“By time * Indeed, mankind is in loss * Except for those who have believed and done righteous deeds and advised each other to truth and advised each other to patience.”
