“O SON OF SPIRIT! Burst thy cage asunder, and even as the phoenix of love soar into the firmament of holiness. Renounce thyself and, filled with the spirit of mercy, abide in the realm of celestial sanctity.”
Thirty five years ago Amin was given to us as a gift. An angel like him whom is a free soul now with a spirit of love, faith and eagerness is soaring in the world of abundance mercies and celebrating his birthday at the foot steps of his beloved with his loved ones in the kingdom of the All Mighty.
“O MY SERVANT! Abandon not for that which perisheth an everlasting dominion, and cast not away celestial sovereignty for a worldly desire. This is the river of everlasting life that hath flowed from the well-spring of the pen of the merciful; well is it with them that drink!”
Comments Off on Four Years Have Passed; The Power of Faith
Dearly loved ones,
Four years has passed. We were not able to get to this point without having faith. The power of faith is amazingly strong and at the same time a hidden mystery. Faith makes a blind man to be able to see. Faith makes a weak person strong and faith makes a hopeless person to become hopeful. The secret of life to live and be able to survive is to have faith. Inseparable entity for the progress of our spirituality. Faith is a beautiful gift that has been bestowed upon us by the Almighty which gives us inner peace and enables us to have beautiful vision for moving forward in this life.
“O SON OF WORLDLINESS! Pleasant is the realm of being, wert thou to attain thereto; glorious is the domain of eternity, shouldst thou pass beyond the world of mortality; sweet is the holy ecstasy if thou drinkest of the mystic chalice from the hands of the celestial Youth. Shouldst thou attain this station, thou wouldst be freed from destruction and death, from toil and sin.”
– The Hidden Words of Bahá’u’lláh
While we all sorely miss him but we have faith Amin is with us and there is no separation. We have faith he is soaring freely in the Abha Paradise and we will see him again and we have absolute faith he is in a better place and watching over us.
Every day we are thankful to the All mighty for giving us the opportunity to have our dearest Amin-jan in our life.
“O SON OF JUSTICE! Whither can a lover go but to the land of his beloved? and what seeker findeth rest away from his heart’s desire? To the true lover reunion is life, and separation is death. His breast is void of patience and his heart hath no peace. A myriad lives he would forsake to hasten to the abode of his beloved.”
[Editor’s Note: October 6th is the 3rd anniversary of Amin’s Passing; December 17th is the 34th anniversary of Amin’s birthday. We apologize for incorrectly reporting these in an earlier version of this post.]
Our dearest friends & families,
In memory of our dear Amin we would like to share with you a beautiful reality that reminds us of him. There is a very rare type of flower due to its very short life span (a few hours) and it scarcity blooming once every 4-5 years at their choice of the day just for a few hours at night. This flower is mysteriously beautiful and at the time of blooming it has a strong, mesmerizing fragrance that fills the whole room immediately.
Chinese people regard this flower as the most precious flower of all. It is the perfect symbol of “life is precious and transient”. If human beings are more
aware that our life is as transient and precious as the orchid cactus, we may appreciate our life and every minute of it and try to gain better understanding why we are here.
This flower and the beauty of it reminds us of Amin. He had a short life in this earthly life but he has left an unforgettable impression on whomever crossed paths with him. We all make legacy regarding who we are. One during our life in this mortal life and one when we travel to the spiritual kingdom and with the grace of Baha’u’llah, Amin has left a beautiful legacy behind.
It is hard to believe three years have passed. We are trying our best to feel and keep his presence in our hearts at all times along with his precious memories. It has been said time would heal the pain, but it is not that easy.
Birthday celebrations are always happy and joyful events. Although we can not see you, hold you in our arms or kiss you but we would like to carry the beautiful rituals by your memorable memories. This year your earthly age would be 33 but as new life in Abha kingdom your age will be 2 years and 2 months and 11 days. This birthday we would like to celebrate how many lives you have touched rather than how many years you have spent on this earthly realm..
Our precious Amin jan with a prayer book in our hand and a light candle in front of us we would like to say happy birthday to your angelic soul.
Amin’s parents recently received the beautiful gift of a book of Baha’i Writings compiled by Mrs. Mahin Najmi, a longtime pioneer to Pakistan. Published in Pakistan, this book includes beautiful prayers and tablets from the Central Figures of the Baha’i Faith on the subject of life after death. The following is an address given by ‘Abdul-Baha in New York on July 8, 1911 during his visit to the United States. Unfortunately, we have not been able to locate the English version of this address and will appreciate receiving it if anyone has access to it.
On Saturday, October 11th, Amin’s parents held a beautiful memorial gathering at their home to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of Amin’s departure from this physical world. Nearly 70 family and friends attended. The program consisted of selections from Baha’i prayers as well as Baha’i Writings about life after death, poems, some music that Amin liked, plus the most recent letter from Amin’s mom. Everyone brought beautiful flowers and these were later laid on Amin’s resting place. Amin is greatly missed by all and lovingly remembered by all whose life he touched.
This letter is written by Amin’s mother as we near the 2nd anniversary of his passing.
Our Dearest Amin-jan,
Two years have passed and it is still difficult to imagine that you have traveled to the next stage. Remembering October 6th 2012 still brings tears to our eyes and tremendous sadness to our hearts. With absolute humility, we have accepted what has been ordained for you and us.
We are all aware that after leaving our earthly body, as a new arrival and guest in the realms above, we step into the Kingdom of our Beloved. A Kingdom that we are not able to comprehend yet but we have all been told that there is a place by the name of Heaven and this is the place that we love to imagine as your new home. Heaven is a place for all of us that even the name of it will fill our souls with solace, peace and calmness.
Bahá’u’lláh has explained Heaven as:
“Blessed is the soul which, at the hour of its separation from the body, is sanctified from the vain imaginings of the peoples of the world. Such a soul liveth and moveth in accordance with the Will of its Creator, and entereth the all-highest Paradise. The Maids of Heaven, inmates of the loftiest mansions, will circle around it, and the Prophets of God and His chosen ones will seek its companionship. With them that soul will freely converse, and will recount unto them that which it hath been made to endure in the path of God, the Lord of all worlds. If any man be told that which hath been ordained for such a soul in the worlds of God, the Lord of the throne on high and of earth below, his whole being will instantly blaze out in his great longing to attain that most exalted, that sanctified and resplendent station.”
It is quite apparent that if any soul follows the path outlined by the manifestations of God, he or she has the capacity to enter the Heavenly worlds of God. We all believe when a soul enters the kingdom of the Almighty that soul is at the mercy of God. As your family, we always thought you had a heavenly soul so we all raise our supplicating hands towards our Lord and pray to him to accept you in his Heavenly worlds. Next time when we see you in our dreams, we hope to be able to ask you “Amin-jan, how is Heaven?”
A day has not passed that we have not prayed for you or thought of you or remembered your warm, kind, beautiful and radiant face. Indeed your place is very empty in every second of our physical and earthly life. It is not easy but the assurances of Baha’ullah regarding our eternal bond fill our hearts with joy and encouragement to move forward in life.
Love you forever,
Dad, Mom, Laila, Vafa and Ashkan
Here is a poem by Rumi which is very poignant and appropriate.
